This was inspired by the wonderful bangle by Vee Pretorius in Contemporary Geometric Beadwork Volume 2 by Kate McKinnon. The book is a real feast for the eyes with amazing examples of beadwork by many artists using the techniques generously shared by Kate and the team.

Back in October I started an Autumn lariat, but it got put away while I was making Christmas stuff. I have finally finished it though – Russian leaves on a diagonal peyote ribbon, with a peyote ring.

My first play with some two hole triangles –  I love some of the colours they come in! These netted bezels for rivolis incorporate the triangles in the largest round of netting. There are two slightly different versions here if you look closely (not just at the colours!). I have seen other flower like patterns made with these, but not I think, any using this method.
